The Friends of the Trojans have a new President, but in stark contrast to the recent Amercian Presidential Inauguration for Obama’s second term, there was no lip-syncing controversy at our inauguration!
The Friends of the Trojans are pleased to announce the position of President has been graciously accepted by Darlene Tozer. It took a little arm-twisting, but Darlene is excited to assume the new role. She brings with her a bundle of energy and enthusiasm, and some fresh ideas. She takes over from Karen Foster who has been serving as President for the past year and a half. Karen has been a tireless worker for the committee, and under her leadership the group ran a flawless fundraising Auction,Dinner & Dance last year, and she succeeded in adding a second major fundraiser for the Friends, the Homecoming Tailgate Party. Karen now assumes the position of Past-President, so she is still very much involved in the committee…she ain’t off the hook yet!
As new President, one of Darlene’s main objectives is to bring some new members to the Friends of the Trojans. So if you’re pals don’t be surprised if Darlene works her charm and gets you to come out. She has some stuff in the works that is new and exciting, and …well you’ll just have to stay tuned to see what she has planned next!
